For three decades, the voice of Shannon "Sangin' Diva" Pearson has been everywhere, and almost no one knew her name.

She began her professional career at 15 doing studio work around Los Angeles. At 16, after performing at the legendary Birdland West Jazz Club in Long Beach, CA, she fell in love with singing to a live audience. From that night on, the Sangin' Diva was born. At 24, that passion carried her into the George Duke Band as lead vocalist, performing alongside a young Jeffrey Osborne.

What followed was a career most vocalists only dream of. Shannon shared the stage and provided background vocals for Natalie Cole, George Duke, Stanley Clark, Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Howard Hewitt, Anthony Hamilton, Ledisi, Evelyn Champagne King, BeBe Winans, Demi Lovato, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry and a plethora of others. In 2023 she lent her talents to the historic "Just Me and You Tour," the first tour in 25 years by the original members of Tony! Toni! Toné!

Her voice has been heard across China, England, Indonesia, Japan, The Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, the UAE, almost every island in the Caribbean and 46 of the 50 states in the US.

Now, after a lengthy chapter in the background, Shannon's driving passion to embrace her solo roots takes center stage. She returns to the forefront with a fresh new look, a brand new band and always with her signature Sangin' Diva sound.
