Shannon "Sangin' Diva" Pearson

began her professional career at the age of 15

doing studio work around Los Angeles.

At 16, after performing at the famous Birdland West

jazz club in Long Beach, Ca, she fell in love with singing live to a crowd. From that day on

the "Sangin' Diva" was born.

Over the years she’s had the privilege to share the stage singing background and learning from amazing artists like Natalie Cole, George Duke, Stanley Clark, Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, Patti Labelle, Howard Hewitt, Anthony Hamilton, Heather Headley, Evelyn Champagne King, BeBe Winans, pop artists Sean “P-diddy” Combs, Kelis, Demi Lovato, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry and a multitude of others.

Shannon began taking her solo show on the road internationally and domestically, performing in Europe, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., the ‘Jazz At The Creek’ Jazz Festival in San Diego, the prestigious Walt Disney Concert Hall with full orchestra, The W Hotel in Hollywood and Spaghettini in Seal Beach with her band to rave reviews.

The gift of music has afforded her to travel the world performing at international music festivals like Montreux in Switzerland, North Sea in The Netherlands and the Java Jazz in Indonesia. Shannon has even had the honor of performing two solo shows on the first ever Inaugural Soul Train Cruise. From London, Japan, Africa, China and many countries in between, to almost every island in the Caribbean as well as 46 of our 50 states her voice has been heard.

Although music is her first love, Shannon is no stranger to the small screen. She has appeared on many television shows from “Soul Train”, “Showtime at the Apollo”, “Everybody hates Chris”, “Jimmy Kimmel”, “America’s got Talent”, CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother”  Saturday Night Live and a host of others.
